Getting Started

How to integrate an ad tech platform with the Scope3 CSP

Recommended Integrations

Emissions Modeling

The Scope3 emissions model models ad tech platforms (ATPs) based on request volume (avails) from upstream supply; distribution ratios to downstream demand, and emissions generated by the ATP to process requests.

Ad tech platforms may use the Inventory Intelligence schema to provide granular data about supply volume and the Traffic Shaping schema to provide data about distribution to downstream partners. The Sustainability Facts API is not yet available.

Inventory Intelligence

Scope3 produces metrics about inventory and sends it to the ATP. Inventory keys are sent to Scope3 using the ATP Supply schema, and sent back using the Inventory Intelligence schema or real-time data provider.

Emissions Reporting

When an ATP sends transacted impression volume using the Media Delivery schema, Scope3 will produce reports in the CSP (at Scope3.com) and push emissions data back to the ATP.

Traffic Shaping

To improve the accuracy of the Scope3 emissions model, ATPs (or their vendor partners) can share details on their Traffic Shaping algorithm.

Usage Reporting

Customers with usage-based pricing can upload activity using the Usage schema. Impressions measured using the Media Delivery API are automatically included in billing.
