Organization (Seller, Buyer)
An organization is a company in the media and ad tech ecosystem. Examples: Hearst or The Trade Desk. We reference organizations through their canonical domain name. For instance, hearst.com
or thetradedesk.com
. We often refer to organizations based on their role in a transaction, for instance, as the seller or the buyer.

Transaction Type and Identifier
Data uploaded to Scope3 may describe a variety of media transactions: a campaign, a line item, a deal, or an insertion order, referenced by transaction_type
field. The identifier of the transaction goes into the transaction_identifier
field.
As an example, to upload data about Deal ID "big_campaign_aug_promo_21", you would pass:
{"transaction_type": "DEAL", "transaction_identifier": "big_campaign_aug_promo_21"}
