Enhancements to Ad Selection Graph Generation

We’ve improved the ad selection graph generation process for publishers with extensive supply chains. While the process continues to use a maximum threshold for the number of ad tech platforms accounted for, we’ve introduced a new prioritization approach. Platforms are now included based on their supply path depth: platforms with more direct (lower depth) paths are prioritized for inclusion.

Expected Impact

Ad Selection Emissions:

  • for publishers with very large supply chains, ad selection emissions may change, likely increasing.
  • For other publishers, ad selection emissions are expected to remain stable.

Benchmark Data:

  • Fluctuations in benchmark data for web, app, OLV, and CTV-BVOD channels are anticipated from February through May.
  • These fluctuations may affect properties' comparative rankings and campaign comparisons against benchmarks.
